BRIAN BARDER, Owner
42 Years in the industry
Brian first started in the plate heat exchanger industry in 1982, working for George Tiazkun (who was the former Manager of Alfa Laval in Lykens, PA). Brian worked for George for 20 years, until George decided to retire and sell his company. Brian then started from scratch on his own in 2002, the beginning of North Road Service Center.
The ambition and dedication of Brian paved the path for a successful business in years to come.
Brian is married with 2 sons, and 2 grandchildren!
Sheila Barder, Accounting & everything else the guys don't do....
22+ years of dedication to North Road Service Center.
Sheila & Brian met in highschool, then got married in 1989. Had two sons, James & Grant. Sheila worked for the State as an HR analyst for 25 years, "Retiring" in 2010. She now handles all of the Accounting & HR needs for North Road Service Center and its customers. Sheila is the binder of this book, keeping things together here @ NRSC.
James Barder, Operations Manager

James is the first son of Brian & Sheila Barder. James used to go with his dad to work on Saturday mornings or during the summer as a child when Brian still worked for George, and work on these shiny plate things.... "When Dad started on his own, Plate Heat Exchangers became a daily thing at the age of 11". Learning the models and becoming very familiar with the process of servicing plate heat exchangers.
Today James handles everything from being an On Site Service Technician to Job Scheduling, Quoting, Shipping, and more.
Expert in technical diagnosis, repair, and service of plate heat exchangers.
